A: The web site migration service that we are offering is free of charge (to a certain extent). We’ll transfer your web site(s) to our high–performance cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from experience that changing web hosting providers can lead to lost info and undesirable downtime. For this reason, we will do all that for you for free!We have highly proficient administrators whose sole responsibility is to make sure that your web site works exactly as it did on your old hosting platform. The administrators are experts in migrating custom–built sites, as well as sites that are based upon well–known web applications like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: There are a lot of variables to consider – the total amount of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. Even so, we do our best to carry out all web site migrations in a 48–hour time frame. Smaller web sites are transferred much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We don’t request any personal info. We’ll require, though, the login information for your present web hosting account and the name of the web site that you wish to move.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share pretty much the same details you have given to your old web host. We’ve also got a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal information is dealt with.

A: Your website will work just like it did before with your old web hosting provider. When we are done with the transfer, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is working properly, all you will have to do is change the name server records pertaining to your domain. Your site will be migrated to us without any downtime.

A: No. We will never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the website migration either.

A: We can migrate your web site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform as long as we can obtain access to the Control Panel and there is File Transfer Protocol access available.The only sites that we can’t transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
