A catch-all mailbox is one that collects all the email messages sent to inactive email addresses. For instance, if your address is info@domain.com, but somebody mistypes it and sends a message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have configured. Only one single mailbox per domain can have this feature enabled and in this way you will never miss emails because the other side has an out-of-date email address or has made a mistake. The disadvantage of using a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving lots of junk emails, but this problem can be solved by using anti-spam filtering software. It is also vital to know that a mailbox with an enabled catch-all feature cannot forward incoming messages to a 3rd-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox without any effort in case you have a cloud website hosting account with us. The Email Manager in our in-house developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet amazingly easy to use, and it will allow you to enable different features, including the catch-all one, with only a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one you will notice a mini "Catch-all" button. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking on it once again will disable it. As you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you already have another one with this option activated or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than a click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated hosting with us and your email messages are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the addresses that you create using any domain hosted in your semi-dedicated hosting account will be enumerated in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this feature will be to click on that icon. In the exact same fashion you will be able to remove the feature, if you don’t need it any longer. Our system will warn you if you’re trying to enable a 2nd catch-all mailbox for a specific domain or in case there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never alter or deactivate any feature automatically and without your consent.
