Multiple OS in VPS Web Hosting
In case you pick one of our virtual private server solutions, you'll have as many as 3 different Operating Systems to select from - CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu. They are all Linux distributions and we offer them instead of offering just one OS, as the applications that you may want to run on the server may have specific requirements regarding the software environment. Each of these three has certain advantages in terms of the available packages that you may later install, but what is common between them is that they are very secure and dependable and have huge communities that support them. The internet hosting Control Panel options for the VPS accounts depend on your OS choice, so as to give you more flexibility. If you order the virtual server with one OS and you need a different one later, our technical support team can easily reinstall the VPS with the new one in a matter of minutes. We also offer the option to maintain the Operating System on your server up-to-date weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are completely free and they won't increase the price of your new web hosting server, but also because they are extremely stable and secure. Each of them is supported by a large community of developers, so you will be able to choose from a large number software packages that you could install on your server in case the application that you intend to employ has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use as the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and because we want to give you as much flexibility as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request in case it turns out that you need alternative one. We could also keep the OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
